EASTBOURNE PRIDE 2026 UPDATE

Following a shift in funding priorities by some of our sponsors, we’ve had to make some changes to our plans for this 2026. This means our plan to host Party in the Park at Hampden Park has been shelved and a new proposal is currently with Eastbourne Council and the emergency services.

The date remains unchanged, Saturday June 13th 2026. The new proposal involves a parade in the Town Centre followed by a free to attend street party in Little Chelsea  covering Grove Road and South Street. The stage will be at the junction of Grove Road and South Street with live music between mid day and 7:30pm. Following feedback last year, there will be more of a focus on local and LGBTQ+ artists in 2026. Market traders will complement existing businesses in the area. The street party will be fully inclusive and many of the venues have exciting plans for the day with some being child friendly, and others being more adult focussed. The street party will end at 7:30pm when we will hand over to local venues for their own evening Pride events late into the night and early morning.

This proposal, if approved, will support us in placing the new charity on firm financial footing so that Pride in Eastbourne can continue to grow, thrive, and serve our community for many years to come.

We understand it may be frustrating waiting for news and thank you for your continued patience. We’ll share more updates as our plans progress. We’re doing our best to ensure it will be worth the wait.
